Spellers will have access to the test between 9 a.m. and 9 pm on test day

Once you start the test, the Speller has 35 minutes to complete the test

The Aptitude test consists of 20 questions with multiple choice answers to each
question. Each question attracts 1 mark.

The system designed for the Aptitude test does not allow a Speller to take
the test more than once

No. It will be uploaded as a link to your dashboard. The dashboard is your
Speller’s account – any and every information needed will be uploaded there.
It is imperative Spellers, and their parents check the dashboard daily for
updates.

Yes, you can: however, you will get a zero mark for any unanswered question.

Once your Speller is done with their test and submits it, they will be able to
see their score immediately.

The minimum mark required to advance to Quarterfinals is 8

If your Speller makes the minimum mark, then you’ve qualified to the next
stage.

Do not feel downhearted, especially since you would have given it your best!
Your Speller has 1 more option

1. Extra sessions – sign-up to take the same level plus 2 other levels to
groom and prepare your Speller for the next edition of the Bee or use the
sessions to build upon their vocabulary. This will greatly improve upon
their Comprehension, Essay and Composition writing in school.

As a Quarter Finalist, your Speller will receive another set of resources, etc
upon paying the fees. Full details of this will be share with you.
